Bishop Library has copies of various LVC theses in its regular book collection or STACKS that can be borrowed. Some of these LVC theses are also available to view online. To access a complete list of the LVC theses located in Bishop Library, click here.
Additionally, you can borrow dissertations & theses that Bishop Library does not own through ILLiad Interlibrary Loan. You'll find dissertations & theses listed in the following two databases:
- WorldCat Dissertations and Theses
- ProQuest Dissertations and Theses or PQDT
To get to these databases, go to the LVC Library homepage. Under FIND, click on ARTICLES and DATABASES.
To order a copy of a dissertation or thesis listed in WorldCat Dissertations and Theses, click on the Request from LVC ILLiad under Get this Item.
To order a copy of a dissertation or thesis listed in ProQuest Dissertations & Theses, you have two options:
- Borrow a copy through ILLiad Interlibrary Loan. Click on Looking for Full-text, then Request a copy through ILLiad Interlibrary Loan.
- Pay to purchase a copy by clicking on Purchase a copy.
If you have just a citation to a dissertation or thesis, go to the library's homepage, click on ILLIAD located under RESEARCH HELP. Logon with your LVC username and password, register (if you have not already), and then, off to the left, under NEW REQUEST, choose dissertation. Type in the information for the dissertation you'd like (author, title, date).
Once it arrives at the library. we'll email you.
