When you're accessing LVC's databases from off-campus, you'll need to login or authenticate.  This login/authentication identifies you as being a member of the LVC community.

Authentication occurs behind the scenes when you're on-campus, since the database vendors can "see" that you're coming from a computer that has an LVC IP.

Off-campus, your computer won't have an LVC IP.   Thus when you attempt to access a database, you'll be prompted to login.  On the left-hand side of the screen, you'll see a list of colleges.  Click on that pull-down bar and select LVC.  Next, put your LVC username (no @lvc.edu, just what's before it) and your LVC password.

You should get in.  Didn't work?  Email nyce@lvc.edu.
