Students are allowed two renewals on most items. Some exceptions are reserves, equipment and other items that are designated in-library use only. Also, items on hold can not be renewed. Your account must be in good standing to renew items. If you have too many items overdue or have lost item charges, for example, your account can be blocked from further checkouts until items are returned or charged paid.
In regards to interlibrary loan material renewals: since these items are not owned by Bishop Library, the renewals are at the discretion of the lending library. Usually renewals are denied when other patrons at the lending library itself need access to these materials.
